| The soft edges of
watercolor in a golden hue of monochromatic, burnt sienna filters the image
of the architecture and ruins surrounding the Temple site in Jerusalem. A
romantic view, yet one that calls to mind the tragic fall of the Temple
and the absence of the Shechina from the earth. But in this image too,
comes the remembrance of G-d's promise to Abraham, when the abandoned and
lost of Israel will again be gathered into the folds of the Divine
Presence and the Holy site will be restored.
