This humorous cartoon image is a Chasidic group of exuberant dancers shaped in the form of a Shin, which according to kabbalah the Shin symbolizes the Eternal Flame. So animated and enthusiastic are the dancers at the time of Simchas Bais HaShoavah, during the week of Sukkas, that the famed author of Diamonds of the Rebbe, Mordechai Staiman, once remarked one Shabbas night, that the "Chasidim danced with such fervor... even without music they danced as if each had a band inside himself. They seemed transformed into splendid images of their forefathers, the Baal Shem Tov and the Alter Rebbe, in extreme radiance as Souls on Fire!"
